Support for anxiety, trauma, and coping related to government or societal alien disclosure
Resources for understanding perception, alien disclosure anxiety, trauma, and meaning-making
A place to support and process extraordinary or disclosure-related experiences, safely, respectfully, and without judgment
We could have called this project Disclosure Therapy, Extraordinary Experience Therapy, or Ontological Therapy but no one affected is searching for those terms. The name Alien Therapy.org is an indirect response to the new government site, Aliens.gov. and other media signals that accelerated disclosure is in mainstream discourse.
This site focuses on disclosure-related and extraordinary experiences, not on traditional alien contactee communities.
Some experiences can be difficult to explain, and the possibility or perception of alien disclosure, whether through media, government announcements, or cultural discussions, can introduce uncertainty, stress, or disruption in how we understand our world and relate to others. These experiences can feel deeply real, sometimes overwhelming, and may trigger emotional or psychological distress.
This site, Alien Therapy exists to offer grounded, supportive pathways without dismissal or assumption.
While many therapists are highly trained in trauma and mental health care, not all are prepared or comfortable engaging with disclosure-related experiences. People may hesitate to seek help, unsure if their concerns will be understood, or may feel they need to justify their experience before receiving support.
