Extraordinary experiences can be overwhelming, disorienting, or distressing. Many individuals seeking support have experiences that are difficult to explain or fall outside common clinical discussion. Not all mental health professionals are trained or comfortable exploring these topics.

Note on Terminology: The term “Alien Therapy” has traditionally been used to describe regressive, hypnotherapy-based approaches for individuals who report direct contact or abduction experiences. AlienTherapy.org is not focused on contactee-specific therapy. Instead, this site provides evidence-informed research and resources for understanding Disclosure-Related, Ontological, and Extraordinary Experiences, and supporting individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or disorientation as a result.
